I discovered Elizabeth Goodge 55 years ago and loved her. It’s been difficult to find her books lately, I’m so happy to see her flame still burns brightly!
So glad you found us!! It is definitely burning bright here, and there are so many others finding her books these days as they have been republished. :) So good to share them far and wide.
I have read this once and found it strange but mesmerising. So, I am keen to read it slowly and with the group in June, especially now I have the vintage copy I was delighted to find at a charity shop. If there is anyone in Australia who needs a copy, I will post you my spare one. That castle also looks strange and intriguing.
This will be my first time through The Little White Horse!
So excited for you Mary! It's a lovely story, and a bit lighter too.
Yes - I am loving the mystery and childlike wonder in this book so far!

I was surprised to find that I own The Little White Horse, but I don't think I've read it. Looking forward to it very much!
Exciting! So glad you can join us!!
Just received my book in the mail! Can’t wait!
The Little White Horse is my favorite book. Very excited to read it again.
Wonderful! So glad you can join us :)
I'm joining you! How did I not realize that our daughters are the same age? Mine are 18, almost 16, and 12!
Yay! So glad you can readalong. Wow, that is close! Grace is 18, Anna 16 and my son Logan is 14 but 6'5"
I have an Anna, too -- she's 22. My son Grant is also quite tall - 6'6", but he's 19. Your Logan is going to be a big one! ;-)
He is a really dear boy, as I am sure yours is too :)
My oldest is Gracie! My middle is Madelyn and my youngest is Aubrey. 🙂
